Here at Wincanton now part of GXO, we are currently recruiting for an MHE Instructor to join our team in Runcorn, supporting our customer Screwfix. As an MHE Instructor you’ll instruct, test, monitor, and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE and deliver operational safety training across all areas of the operation. The relevant candidate will be working Monday – Friday across a range of times to accommodate the business needs. Times include 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and on occasion, 22:00-06:00.

You’ll receive a salary of up to£29,000 per annum and receive 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day
  • To assist in training, assessing and re-assessing all users of MHE
  • To ensure the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard
  • Ensuring that a high HSE performance is achieved within the operation and that a culture of safety is embedded in everything we do
  • Proactively undertaking training needs analysis and seeking improvements in process/methods of operating as well as developing and delivering Safe System Of Work Training
  • Designing and developing appropriate training and supporting materials and measuring their continued effectiveness
What you need to succeed at GXO
  • Have sound working knowledge of the interaction between their own department and other key functions
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage own time
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills and well-developed presentation skills
  • Confident and competent in the use of Microsoft office applications (eg; Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
