A leading mental health support service in Seacroft is seeking a Night Support Worker to provide compassionate care for individuals with complex mental health needs. Night Support Worker

Location: Millcroft House, Seacroft, Leeds

Salary: £13.45 per hour + Overtime paid at £14.95 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 7:45am - 7:45pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About Millcroft House

Millcroft House is a modern, purpose-built residential service in Leeds, offering step-down rehabilitation for men with complex and enduring mental health needs. The service supports people who are moving on from hospital-based care but still require a safe, structured and therapeutic environment to maintain progress, manage risk and build skills for more independent living.

With a focus on recovery, community integration and improving overall quality of life, Millcroft House is designed to support progression at the right pace.

As a Support Worker, you will:
  • Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
  • Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
  • Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
Experience Required:
  • Experience within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation setting
  • Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team
  • Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care
