Description

You are an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator who will be providing specialized technical and project management support on an exciting rail project. You will be a key member of the project team responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all Mechanical and Electrical scopes of work. You’ll help drive quality, safety, and efficiency across every stage of construction, from design through to commissioning.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Mechanical and Electrical activities to align project specifications, drawings, and codes
  • Manage and track M&E schedules, including submissions, deliveries, installations, and inspections
  • Review drawings, identify conflicts, and manage information flow to prevent coordination issues
  • Oversee functional testing and commissioning of building systems
  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with RFIs, shop drawing reviews, schedule updates, and close-out documentation
  • Maintain ongoing communication with subcontractors to ensure milestones and quality standards are met
  • Contribute to the preparation of M&E scopes of work and tender packages by reviewing drawings, specifications, and budgets
  • Apply Ledcors Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) Plan to ensure full compliance with OH&S regulations, codes, and company standards

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical coordination within Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, Transit Stations or other complex buildings
  • Post-secondary education in civil engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, codes, and engineering principles
  • Proven ability to identify, document, and resolve technical or coordination issues proactively
  • Skilled in managing subcontractors, schedules, and quality standards
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with construction management and M&E coordination software
