Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to act as the bridge between our design and supplier teams. You will ensure accurate and efficient data flow across 2D drawings, supporting precision engineering in Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and maintain high-quality 2D drawings, with a focus on Jigs & Fixtures.
  • Work on rotating components for Electric Motors.
  • Work closely with design and supplier teams to ensure accurate data transfer and feedback.
  • Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to all drawings.
  • Interpret and work with designs for machined metallic components, composites, polymers, and electrically machined parts.
  • Ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related discipline.
  • Strong 2D drafting skills, particularly for Jigs & Fixtures.
  • Experience using MATLAB.
  • Proficiency in NX Siemens CAD software.
  • Solid understanding of GD&T principles.
  • Background in Aerospace engineering.
  • Strong communication skills for effective liaison between design and supplier teams.
