The Role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for a reliable, organised and professional Matchday Administrator to support our operations at Burnley Football Club, based at Turf Moor.

This is a casual, matchday-only role, offered as and when Burnley FC play at home. Successful candidates can expect a guaranteed 8 hours per matchday.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate staff attendance, timekeeping and post-shift administration on event days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Signing event staff in and out at the start and end of shifts
  • Accurately recording shift start and finish times
  • Updating the company shift management system with correct timings
  • Recording and reporting sickness, absences and no-shows
  • Completing post-shift administration following each matchday
  • Liaising with the Event Operations and Management teams on the day
  • Acting as a professional and approachable point of contact for staff
  • Organise the logistics of equipment such as radios, uniform and security equipment
  • Handling personal data confidentially and in line with GDPR requirements
Location & Working Pattern
  • Location: Turf Moor, Burnley
  • Contract type: Casual
  • Working pattern: Matchdays only – when Burnley FC are playing at home
  • Hours: Guaranteed 8 hours per matchday

This role is not full-time and is entirely dependent on the home fixture schedule.

  • Organised, detail-focused and reliable
  • Punctual, professional and confident in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using IT systems and basic administrative tools
  • Clear communicator, able to deal confidently with staff and management
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to commit to at least most Burnley FC home matches
Person Specification - Desirable
  • Spectator Safety Qualification
  • Experience of working in live events
  • Experience of working in administration and logistics
  • Knowledge and understanding of event security and stewarding operations
  • Willingness to work at other Carlisle Events venues

Successful candidates will be required to complete screening and vetting checks and provide original documentation as part of the onboarding process.
