We are looking for a Marketing Executive who will support the Marketing Managers (B2B and B2C) in the planningand delivery of campaigns targeting both business and consumer audiences. The role focuseson promoting BCS products and services, driving acquisition, engagement and growth, andensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of the BCS strategy and product offering, customersand market.
- Implement marketing plans that are delivered via multiple channels, to buildawareness, increase visits to the BCS website, generate sales leads, optimiseconversion to sale and increase customer engagement and retention.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of sales enablement materials including video casestudies, brochureware, electronic sales aids, product information platform updates.
- Create communications and workflows using CRM solutions including but not limitedto Salesforce and HubSpot. Good copywriting and HMTL 5 skills would beadvantageous.
- Delivery and optimisation of digital marketing activity including programmatic display,Google Ads, LinkedIn Advertising and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns and activity againstagreed targets. Use metrics to guide decision-making and optimise future efforts.
- Ensure all communications messaging supports the overarching brand message andcampaign themes.
- Ensure all marketing out puts comply with: BCS brand guidelines, UK GDPR, thePrivacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), Digital Markets,Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA) and CAP Code.
- Develop strong working relationships with BCS teams across the business; particularlythose with a strong dependency on the success of marketing activity.
- Communicate clearly, work effectively with others, and contribute to team objectives.
- Champion BCS values by embedding them into daily work, fostering a positive culture,and encouraging others to do the same.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by seeking opportunities to enhanceprocesses, performance, and outcomes.
- Remain flexible and adaptable in response to changing priorities, challenges, and workenvironments.
- Embrace change positively and support others through periods of transition.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing communications
- Demonstrable experience of content writing and delivery using a range ofcommunications techniques and technology including social media and web-basedtechnology.
- Experience in using CRM systems including Hubspot and Salesforce.
- Experience in using campaign management systems including Asana, Monday.cometc.
- Experience in using marketing platform technologies including: Canva, Hootsuite,SEMRush, Meta, X, etc.
- Practical experience of cost/budget control.
- Positive, confident, self-sufficient, and creative.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build and maintain successful workingrelationships internally and externally.
- Excellent planning and organisation.
- Ability to work to timescales and under pressure.
- Able to analyse data and produce Management Information on communicationsactivity.
- Up to date with digital marketing techniques and marketing developments.
- Strong understanding of GDPR and how to apply it in marketing communications.
- In-depth knowledge of the company's products, who buys them and why.
