Marine & Yacht Shipping Commercial Manager

Are you looking for a unique commercial role within the marine sector, encompassing key account management, new business development and social marketing? On behalf of a specialist freight forwarder, we are looking to speak to commercially minded marine professionals who love to build relationships, seek out existing clients, develop new ones, attend boat shows around the world and act as the main customer-facing ambassador for the company.

Role

You will attend various boat shows worldwide, promoting the company and building relationships with marine and boat manufacturers/agents, as well as high-net-worth individuals who own or regularly move their boats. Our Winchester office hosts a small friendly team in a busy, fast‑paced and enjoyable environment. Full support will be provided by directors with extensive forwarding and business knowledge. Although shipping experience would be beneficial, the most important qualities are a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a keen interest or knowledge base within the marine sector.

Essential Criteria

  • A marine background – either leisure or commercial.
  • Commercially minded with a proven sales background or ability.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Salary & Benefits
