A leading global food company in Wolverhampton is seeking a Trainer to implement and maintain health and safety training programs. You will be responsible for assessing existing programs, designing new ones and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of environmental health and safety, and relevant qualifications such as HACCP. This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high‑quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Location: Wolverhampton (UK) WV9 5EU—The role is a permanent days based position Monday‑Friday based in a factory.
Cargill’s European protein business is a leading supplier and innovator of further processed chicken products for retail, foodservice and food manufacturing customers. The role is based in our Wolverhampton Factory which is a state‑of‑the‑art further processing facility for a leading global Quick Service Restaurant customer.
The Trainer will implement and maintain Health and Safety training, including Manual Handling Risk Assessments, Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory programs, site Critical Control Point training and assessing to make sure they align to Cargill corporate as well as regulatory requirements. In this role, you will assess existing training programs, design and implement new training programs to enhance employee skills.
