Job summary

As a Management Accountant , you’ll be responsible for preparing, developing and analysing management accounts to support budget holders in making informed decisions. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights that guide business planning and operational efficiency.

What we are looking for
  • Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role.
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Analyse financial performance and support long-term business planning and forecasting.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, and support budgeting and cost control initiatives.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial results.
  • Support tender evaluations with cost analysis and risk assessments.
  • Develop cost models and provide financial input during supplier negotiations and contract renewals.
  • Assist with audits and maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Skills & Experience
  • AAT qualification or qualified by experience.
  • Experience with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) procedures and reporting would be ideal but not essential.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Flexible, proactive and results-driven approach.
