Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Greater London is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Make Ready Department. The successful applicant will manage the office administration, aid the management team, and handle queries autonomously. Candidates should have significant experience in administrative roles and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £32,199 to £34,876 per annum.

Job description

The purpose of this role is to manage the administration for the Make Ready Departmentand provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the Make Ready Management Team.? The post holder will manage the day-to-day office administration for the department including the administration requirements for the Make Ready Staff.? They will act as app point of contact for any queries from operations and autonomously manage these on a case by case basis.? The post holder will be responsible for ordering all items which the department distribute via the trusts purchasing system. They will be required to receipt orders and oversee the department's inventory system

Main duties of the job
  • To manage office administration for the Make Ready Department.
  • The collation of information to maintain and record the overtime, annual leave and sickness processes for the department using software provided. The production and distribution of weekly returns to a deadline.
  • Basic knowledge and application of service policies and procedures and HR policies in order to deal with staff and management queries and provide basic advice.

  • Good all round levelheritage of education equivalent to NVQ level 3, including Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
Experience

  • Recent experience of using an email and calendar system such as Microsoft Outlook
