As a highly skilled professional at JLR, you will bring era‑defining vehicles to life. You’ll collaborate with expert technicians and leaders across the business, ensuring our production lines run smoothly and meet the highest quality standards. Work within a dynamic team at our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton, delivering engineering maintenance support to all manufacturing assets and equipment.

Our technologies include automated equipment such as robots, welding and joining systems, laser joiners, conveyors, complex tooling, and lifting equipment. Whether you are an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or a multiskilled engineer, you will receive comprehensive training—including Siemens, Kuka, and ABB Robotics—while working on machines used to build Battery Packs and Electric Drive Units.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• First response to breakdowns and controls to deliver minimal downtime using safe working practices
• Carrying out PM checks, running checks and ensuring completion to schedule
• Implementing permanent corrective actions to recurring issues
• Carrying out weekend/shutdown work and delivering projects as per business requirements
• Willingness to undertake training as and when required by the business

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• A relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering
• Significant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with CNC Machining Centres, systems and procedures including conveyor systems, gantry and auxiliary equipment, machining aluminium or steel, or previous maintenance in a high‑volume production environment
• Good working knowledge of PLCs and fault‑finding techniques
