Maintenance Engineer

Salary:Starting at £38,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you a skilledMaintenance Engineerlooking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a hands-on professional with experience in maintaining and repairing production machinery, including metal pressing equipment. If you have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

Machinery & Equipment Maintenance– Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical faults, and ensure efficient production operations.
Metal Pressing Machinery– Maintain and repair die-sets and pressing machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
Electrical Maintenance– Carry out basic electrical repairs, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Preventative Maintenance– Conduct inspections and implement maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
Tooling & Adjustments– Monitor machine settings and make necessary adjustments to maintain precision and quality.

The Ideal Maintenance Engineer:

Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of metal pressing machinery, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Basic electrical training and the ability to perform essential electrical repairs.
