We are a globally operating logistics/automation company based in a well‑known retailer’s automated distribution centre in Hertfordshire. We seek a multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical skills to support our engineering team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver hands‑on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly.
  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS.
  • Follow safety and repair best practices at all times.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives.
Requirements
  • Ideally fully apprentice trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications.
  • Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7.
  • Experience of automated materials handling systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work a shift pattern with days and nights.
  • Ability to work at heights (via harnesses and training).
