Job description

We are looking to recruit a reliable Tooling Crib for our client based in Lodge Farm, NN5. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, local company at their Northampton site.

PAY:

£13.25- £13.50 (DOE) per hour up to 37.5 hours with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

HOURS:

Monday-Thursday: 7am-3:30pm

Friday: 7am- 12:30pm

JOB DUTIES:
  • To ensure machine tooling is delivered to the production lines as per production demands.
  • Support manufacturing by carrying out any required machining or general production operations.
  • Review and interpret setup sheets, tooling lists as per line requirements.
  • Maintain tooling database ensuring all new tooling is added and tooling lists are created when needed (Will get trained on their CRM/WMS).
  • Ensure tooling is available and in safe usable condition prior to production runs (quality checking of machine tooling).
  • Maintain work areas and equipment in a neat and orderly manner respective of 5S standards, ensure that all equipment is within calibration and certified for use.
  • Perform production machining tasks utilizing various machine tools and metrology equipment.
