Job description

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Egglescliffe School and Sixth Form (Eaglescliffe)

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Actual Salary: £11,559 to £12,010 (Grade F, SCP 7 to 8)

Hours of Work: 18.75 hours per week, term time plus 5 days (Monday to Friday)

Contract Type: Permanent

Closing Date: 12.00pm, Wednesday 14th January 2026

Interviews: W/C Monday 19th January 2026

About the Role

We seek to appoint a suitably qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant – with experience of working with children who have communication and interaction difficulties ages 11 to 18, reporting to the SENDCo.
