A global packaging leader in London is seeking a Legal Counsel for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Are you a commercially minded legal professional with a passion for problem solving and supporting business teams?
We’re looking for aLegal Counsel (1–3 PQE)to join us on a12-month fixed-term contract, working in a hybrid model (typically1–2 days/week in our London office).
This is a high-impact role where you will act as a trusted partner to the business, supporting legal initiatives across our global operations.
What you’ll be doing
Legal Documentation
Prepare, review and maintain a wide range of legal documents, contracts and agreements.
Contract Management
Support the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, tracking and ongoing administration.
Corporate Governance
Assist with corporate records, board materials and compliance with regulatory obligations.
Internal Stakeholder Support
Work closely with cross-functional departments to gather information and provide clear, practical legal support.
Training
Organise and deliver legal training sessions to colleagues on policies, compliance and relevant legal topics.
Record Keeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal activities, agreements and documentation.
What you’ll bring
Qualified Lawyer (1–3 PQE or equivalent)
In-house experience isnot required— we are open to candidates from private practice.
Strongdrafting, interpretation and negotiation skills.
Ability to workat pace and with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn legal complexity into clear, user-friendly guidance.
A collaborative mindset —team player, flexible and commercially aware.
Enthusiasm, curiosity, and the willingness to learn.
