The role

This will be a 12 Month maternity cover Fixed Term contract.

Bevan Brittan has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join the Business Support Services team. The team supports our lawyers by completing a wide range of administration tasks. The hours are 36.25 per week, working 7.25 hour shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. This role is based in our Birmingham office.

Main responsibilities
  • Processing incoming post
  • Compiling electronic bundles for court
  • Conflict searching and Matter opening
  • Processing incoming requests via the departmental inboxes
  • Reprographics
  • Supporting travel requests
  • Maintaining stationery supplies
What we are looking for from you

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:

  • Quality and customer service driven, with a concern for accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential. Ideally, this would be within a professional services environment
  • IT literate with a working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Able to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload effectively
  • Enthusiastic, pro‑active and flexible. Willing to contribute and support others as part of a team
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills
