Job summary

A further education institution in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a dedicated full-time lecturer in Public Services to provide high-quality teaching and foster a supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and may possess a teaching qualification, with the opportunity to obtain one during the first three years of employment. Job Overview

Lecturer, Public Services, Southend Campus – FULL TIME.

We are seeking a dynamic lecturer within areas of Public Services provision with a drive and passion to teach to an outstanding standard, to join the team within the School of Sport, Public Services, Science and Business. The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.

You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives. It is desirable but not essential that the successful candidate holds a teaching qualification and possesses relevant experience; however if you do not have the teaching qualification you will be expected to achieve this during your first 3 years of employment. The salary offered to the successful candidate will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
