About the Role

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of high-quality computing programmes, ensuring curriculum relevance, industry alignment, and excellent learning experiences.
  • Provide strong academic and pastoral support to students, including those with EHCPs or ALS needs, and actively support progression to higher education or employment.
  • Embrace and implement digital learning technologies to enhance teaching, assessment, and student engagement, while sharing best practices across the team.
  • Monitor and support student performance, attendance, and behaviour; contribute to interviews, inductions, parental engagement, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, including curriculum reviews, assessment preparation, and compliance with awarding bodies and college standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage course documentation, maintain accurate records on college platforms (e.g. SharePoint), and contribute to a culture of celebration and excellence.
Qualifications
  • Appropriate degree or equivalent/re आलो factorial vocational qualification or commitment to work towards.
  • Teacher qualification or commitment to work towards.
  • Assessor Awards or commitment to work towards within first year.
  • Level 2 English and Maths qualification.
  • Successful experience delivering high-quality provision.
  • Evidence of supporting curriculum development.
  • Evidence of collecting and acting upon data analysis.
  • Experience implementing a range of delivery methods to suit a variety of learning needs.
  • Appropriate academic/vocational experience.
  • Experience of internal quality assurance.
