Qualifications

  • Proven track record of working with learners with SEND.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding practices.
  • Willingness to work towards Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative learning to meet the needs of learners including those with barriers to learning.
  • Support the learning process through the development of tailored resources.
  • Monitor learner’s welfare and health and safety while on the learning programme.

Skills

Good communication and presentation skills
IT Literate, Microsoft Office and Teams
Time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
Understanding of Safeguarding in Post 16 education settings

Education

Good standard of general education including English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent
