A care support organization in Braintree is seeking a dedicated Learning Disabilities Support Worker to provide essential care to individuals with learning disabilities and autism. In this part-time role, you will help enhance clients' quality of life through practical and emotional support while promoting independence. Salary: £12.53 per hour
Location:Braintree Day Centre
Hours:Part-time, 26 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Mon - Fri

As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will join a dedicated team to deliver a personalised plan to support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, providing a holistic service that focuses on fostering independence and self-esteem, promoting social inclusion, and enhancing quality of life for everyone who comes through our doors.
You’ll be providing practical, emotional and social support to customers to help achieve their desired outcomes, from gaining qualifications, learning to manage money, travelling independently or building social skills. You will also support individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and eating and drinking.

To be considered as a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, youneed:
Previous experience in the careindustry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Travel required across Essex to attend training, work at other centres, and in the community.
