Our Learning and Development Technologists work across the Trust as part of the Technology Enhanced Learning team. In this role you will work alongside Subject Matter Experts to create, update and maintain e-learning on a variety of subjects. You will also help to maintain our Learning Management System, ESR.
You will develop bespoke and specialist online learning content on a national learning platform for use by the Trust workforce following organisational processes and policies. You will be required to research, investigate and understand specialist requirements and issues in order to produce e-Learning resources that are fit for purpose.
You will engage staff and stakeholders to advise and guide them through the process of developing an e-Learning course/resource, from start to finish, that can be delivered on a local/national learning platform and capable of outputting measurable results and reports.
You will develop and research tools, techniques and standards to create innovative and creative e-Learning resources that deliver measurable outcomes and demonstrate value for the Trust and meet the needs of the workforce ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
You will be required to engage with users, key partners and stakeholders including front line staff in the workforce to create and deliver engaging, creative and intuitive e-Learning resources. You will offer expert advice and guidance to resource users and stakeholders. Attend and give input at meetings/inductions where needed.

Development of systems and processes to ensure all staff have access to e-learning systems.
Configure on-line element of Trust Induction Programme, providing support and guidance to inductees and other facilitators.
Development and maintenance of online learning environments, utilising graphic/instructional design and skills.
Implementation of e-learning programmes on ESR.
Participate in and contribute to multiple departmental projects simultaneously and manage complex developments prioritising deadlines appropriately
Manage the development of multimedia (video, photographs, animation etc.), working with Subject Matter Experts in the delivery of training for the Trust, including Statutory and Mandatory Training, Clinical Skills and generic topics.
Developing effective competency assessment tools within programmes to enable demonstration of comprehension by learners.
Testing programmes to ensure full functionality and learner accessibility within Learning Management Systems.
