Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist

Salary: Competitive • Time Type: 37.5 hours per week

Cromwell Hospital, a leading private facility in West London, offers comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services. We are seeking a skilled Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to oversee the adult physiotherapy team, with a focus on neurology, oncology, and medical admissions, extending to the Adult Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

• Operational oversight and clinical leadership of the adult physiotherapy team.
• Collaborate with fellow lead therapists and support the Therapy Manager.
• Manage a diverse caseload of inpatients and outpatients, triaging referrals and treating complex and chronic conditions, often with multiple co‑morbidities.
• Lead innovative initiatives to expand therapy services and contribute to revenue generation in line with the hospital’s objectives.
• Utilise advanced equipment such as a 12‑lead FES bike and the Xcite2 FES system to deliver task‑specific, multi‑channel functional electrical stimulation therapy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Extensive experience in a similar clinical and leadership role.
• Confidence working with clients with complex neurological presentations and rehabilitation needs, including ICU.
• Experience managing deteriorating patients as part of a cardiorespiratory on–call service.
