Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Ports Engineer to join their growing Ports Team in the UK. The successful candidate will conduct studies, prepare technical reports, and lead design delivery for marine jetties related to gas and liquid products. This role requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, chartered or near chartership status, and proven structural design experience. The position offers flexibility in working arrangements and may require overseas travel for project assignments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading complex projects from concept through execution.
• Strong knowledge of design standards (API, AISC, OCIMF, etc.).
• Ability to prepare and present technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for marine facilities.
• Lead structural design delivery of marine jetties.
