Qualifications

• Must complete the 6-week Accuracy Checking Programme if no prior qualification.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to patients regarding medicines.
• Coach and inspire the pharmacy team to deliver quality care.
• Manage stock, workload, and patient safety.
• Assist with triaging patients and distributing prescriptions.

Skills

Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Motivation to improve services for patients

Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology

Education

Completion of a recognised training provider

Formal qualification in accuracy checking
