The Role
As a Lead Operational Analysis Engineer, you will provide critical systems and operational analysis to support the design, evaluation and assurance of Typhoon mission systems for the RAF.

Day-to-day, you’ll work as part of an embedded team within 41 Test and Evaluation Squadron, leading analysis activities, developing and assuring software tools, supporting flight test programmes and providing subject matter expert input to ensure safe and effective capability development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing subject matter expert support to Typhoon mission and avionics systems
  • Leading systems integration and flight test analysis activities
  • Developing and assuring software tools for data processing, visualisation and reporting

  • Eligibility or willingness to obtain UK Security Clearance

This role is 37 hours per week based at RAF Coningsby. Set working times are 08:00–16:30. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected.
