About the Role

Are you ready to help shape the future of student fencing at NTU?

We’re looking for a passionate and organised fencing coach to join our team—working alongside another Lead Coach to plan and deliver an engaging year‑round programme for the NTU Fencing Club.

Responsibilities

  • Co‑lead group training sessions
  • Support individual athlete development
  • Help students reach their full potential, from beginners to BUCS competitors
  • Plan and deliver quality sessions

Qualifications

  • Level 2 coaching qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in planning and delivering training sessions
  • Confidence in leading others and building a positive, inclusive, high‑performing environment
  • Experience in student sport or performance pathways is a bonus

Current coaching schedule (term time only, September–April, subject to change) will be discussed at the interview, currently scheduled for Tuesdays 20:00–22:00.

Flexible zero‑hours role, perfect for those excited by developing student sport and collaborating to raise standards.

Interviews will take place week commencing 14 January 2026.
