The Role

ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their team at ALS Trowbridge. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques and support our sample receipt department on weekends. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures.


About The Position

Days Per Week: Monday to Thursday (10:30 - 21:00)


Contract: Full Time and Fixed Term


Annual Salary: £25,834 per annum

The Day to Day


  • To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology.

  • Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.

  • Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment.

  • Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.

  • Conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.

  • Keep accurate records.


The Essentials


  • Previous experience working in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Keen eye for detail.

  • Possess excellent time management skills.

  • Methodical in your approach.
