In this role you will assist our Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of nutritious meals for our residents. You will keep the kitchen clean, safe and tidy at all times, help with serving meals, and interact with residents on a daily basis – through friendly, caring and respectful service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the Chef’s direction.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and tidiness of kitchen area during shifts.
• Serve meals and interact with residents in a friendly, caring manner.
• Ensure compliance with statutory & legal requirements (HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH, Environmental Health).
• Monitor kitchen equipment, report faults immediately to Chef and Head Caretaker.

Training & Development

Full training will be provided – no formal qualifications required.
