At Burson, we’re looking for a Junior/Midweight Creative to join our central Creative, Strategy & Direction team. This is your opportunity to work with iconic clients from consumer to corporate, health to tech creating earned-first ideas and campaigns that stand out and cut-through.

As a Junior/Midweight Creative you will work in close partnership with our Strategists, Creatives and Creative Directors across a wide variety of briefs. You’ll work across everything from earned-first tactical briefs, to concepts that win pitches, to culturally‑savvy ideas that shine on social.

We’re hiring at both junior and midweight levels. Candidates with 2+ years’ experience may be considered for junior; candidates with 4–6 years’ experience may be considered for midweight. Level and salary will be determined based on experience and portfolio.

What you'll do:

  • Conceptualise and develop ideas across multiple client accounts.
  • Take briefs from our Strategists, then develop concepts working in tandem with our Creatives and Creative Director.
  • Visualise your ideas and present them to colleagues and clients.
  • Work across multiple sector teams, building strong internal relationships.
  • Work on multiple briefs concurrently, delivering appropriate solutions.
  • Contribute to agency culture through engaging company creative initiatives and meetings.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Experience in an agency environment is idea (this could be in a public relations, communications, marketing, advertising or social agency).
  • A portfolio full of ideas (both actual client work and spec).
  • A passion for creative ideas, with the ability to craft compelling concepts for diverse audiences and media platforms.
  • A desire to create ideas that work across multiple channels – whilst this role is primarily for earned-first ideas we work across all channels.
  • Understanding of the media landscape.
  • An innate understanding of social media, what’s hot and what’s not.
  • A devourer of culture and trends.
  • Writing and presentation skills.
  • Keen knowledge and experience of using generative AI tools.
  • A self‑starter, organised and keen to develop.
