About Us

We are a multidisciplinary interpretation and design practice specialising in the creation of engaging spatial experiences for museums, cultural institutions, and public realm environments. Our work spans exhibition design, outdoor furniture, spatial planning, interiors, heritage interpretation, and graphic design. We bring stories to life through thoughtful design and collaborative creativity.

We are seeking a Junior Exhibition / Spatial Designer to join our team and work under our Senior Spatial Designers, who bring years of experience in technical detailing, construction knowledge, and interpretive design. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn and grow within a supportive, highly collaborative studio environment.

Who We’re Looking For

This is a junior-level role, and we welcome applicants who are early in their career.

You should have either:

  • An undergraduate degree in a design-related field (e.g. Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, or similar), or
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a related exhibition, interiors, or spatial design role.

Applicants with a design-related degree do not need prior industry experience.

We also welcome applications from adjacent backgrounds where skills are transferable, including (but not limited to): Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Kitchen Design, and Furniture Design.

Key Skills & Attributes

Essential

  • Proficiency in SketchUp
  • Strong foundational design skills and understanding of design principles
  • Developing an understanding of how things are constructed, with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to plan ahead and manage tasks independently and in collaboration with the design and project management team
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team (including graphic designers, interpretive planners, architects, interior designers, and product designers)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Enscape
  • An understanding of technical drawing conventions
  • Knowledge of construction methods
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
Working Hours

Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am–1:00pm (work from home)

Contract

Full-time (36-hour week). Part-time considered by negotiation.

Holidays

30 days per year (13.5 statutory days and 16.5 additional working days)

Interview Process

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview at our studio in Holywood. At this stage, you will be asked to present and discuss your portfolio of work (academic or professional).
