TGP is recruiting a highly organised and proactive Junior Chartering Broker to support day-to-day chartering activities of TGP’s Headquarters in Sevenoaks. This includes but not limited to assisting with preparation of Freight Quotations, liaising with other TGP offices to collect information required for preparation of tenders, maintain and update databases with RFQ’s, editing Booking Notes and Charterparties under close supervision of the Chartering Manager, sourcing cargoes, advising internal teams, and ensuring operational excellence and risk mitigation in vessel chartering and other related shipbroking activities. The successful candidate will be highly IT-literate, with strong Microsoft 365 skills, and will report directly to the Group Chartering Manager who plays a critical role in shaping the future of TGP’s operations, driving transformation, and delivering value to clients worldwide.
This role is based in Sevenoaks, UK. A minimum level of in-office attendance is required, and candidates should be prepared to work at other TGP office locations as part of a collaborative and deadline-driven team. While some hybrid working flexibility may be considered following successful onboarding, regular presence in the office is required and highly desirable.
