About The Role

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Development Manager / Market Intelligence Analyst to support the growth of our project management and cost consultancy business. This role doesn’t require selling, presenting, or meeting our clients. The role is to help generate market intel to ensure our client database is accurate with correct client information.

This hybrid role blends early-stage business development with strategic market research and CRM management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new client opportunities, maintaining a robust database of key contacts, and generating insights on trends, competitors, and upcoming developments within the built environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years' experience in a business development, sales support, or research role — ideally within a construction consultancy, contractor, developer, or professional services firm in the built environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM tools and confident managing and segmenting contact databases.
  • Comfortable conducting market and company research using digital tools, platforms, and open-source data.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage large datasets and extract useful insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present findings clearly and professionally.
