Overview

Join AECOM's Growing Ground Engineering Team. We are seeking Ground Engineering professionals to join our teams across the UK & Ireland (UK&I) with opportunities for different levels in Geotechnical Engineering/Geology.

What we offer

We work for leading UK&I and international clients and have a wide range of commissions across all sectors. Our Ground Engineering Practice covers all aspects of ground engineering serving a wide range of end markets including Energy, Rail, Highways, Water, Development, Defence, Nuclear Sectors, Ports & Marine. We develop projects from concept through to operation, providing engineering and construction services for large-scale projects for major rail and transit agencies. Our specialists provide analytical and strategic expertise for every stage of a project.

Qualifications
  • Degree (BSc or MSc) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
  • Progress towards Chartered status would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite. The team can provide support in achieving chartered status.
  • Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design, with openness to new methods and innovations.
  • Proven leadership experience in similar roles, appropriate to your level, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
  • Clean driving licence.
