Job description
IT Support / Trainer - Innovative company - Fresh Ideas

Join to apply for the IT Support / Trainer - Innovative company - Fresh Ideas role at WMDO - World Medical Device Organization

A Hybrid Role For Someone Who Loves Tech. This is a rare opportunity for someone technical who wants to grow into training, coaching, and digital learning without being boxed into a traditional L&D role. The organisation is expanding rapidly. New people join every month. New tools are rolling out across Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms. And they're actively looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, design new ways of helping people learn, and shape a modern, user‑friendly training culture. You'll have the freedom to experiment — micro‑videos, quick tips, live sessions, floor walking, drop‑in clinics, creative guides. If you can improve the user experience, you'll be encouraged to run with it.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver engaging onboarding sessions for new starters twice a month.
  • Teach people practical skills across Teams, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, Copilot, and more — focusing on confidence and productivity, not jargon.
  • Host interactive 'ask me anywhere' clinics in different offices.
  • Create dynamic learning content: bite‑sized videos, quick reference cards, simple guides, FAQs, and self‑help articles.
  • Help support major technology rollouts with training, comms, and user‑friendly learning materials.
  • Help shape a modern, searchable, user‑friendly knowledge base.
  • Suggest and implement new ideas — whether that's automation, a new training format, a better workflow, or a series of micro‑learning sessions.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Ideal for IT support professionals who want to move toward training.
  • High autonomy: you're encouraged to create, experiment, and innovate.
  • Users appreciate simple, clear guidance, so your impact is immediate.
  • Freedom to shape the way learning works across the whole business.
  • Access to modern cloud tools and Microsoft 365 technologies.
Nice To Have
  • Experience creating training content or knowledge articles.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, iOS, or cloud access solutions (Citrix/AVD).
  • Interest in adult learning principles or digital learning tools.
