Job summary

A leading solutions provider in East Midlands is searching for an Assistant Stock Controller to support the operations of their stores and inventory. The ideal candidate will manage stock control processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining a safe and organized environment. Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse setting and excellent organizational skills. This full-time role offers a salary of £12.71 per hour and benefits such as a pension scheme and holiday buy scheme.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Booking in goods accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing returns and liaising with suppliers.
  • Recording and issuing plant equipment.
  • Processing and recording the Company’s waste.
  • Supporting the maintenance of appropriate stock levels.
  • Assisting with stock counts and project audits.
  • Picking and allocating stock.
  • Maintaining accurate stock locations.
  • Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Keeping the stores area free from health and safety hazards.
  • Undertaking other duties as required.
