Inventory Executive

Responsibilities
  • Identify excess materials weekly and align with Supply Planning for clearance.
  • Support sales and customer teams with additional clearance plans.
  • Execute yellow code sales clearance and charity orders, ensuring delivery and documentation.
  • Govern the total destructions budget, including FG Low Code authorisation.
  • Perform period-end finance reviews and trend analysis.
  • Lead root‑cause reviews and cross‑functional alignment to mitigate future risk.
  • Create and share weekly network inventory outlook with key stakeholders.
  • Systemise projection accuracy and resolve systemic variances.
  • Escalate capacity challenges and collaborate with Network, SP, and Customer teams.
  • Review and validate IO safety‑stock targets weekly.
  • Balance service delivery with obsolescence risk.
  • Implement time‑phased safety stocks for seasonal builds and downtime planning.
  • Track and demonstrate ownership of Days in Inventory (DII) performance.
  • Identify key drivers and propose mitigation strategies to meet annual targets.
  • Conduct consistent and accurate root‑cause analysis of past low code and destructions.
  • Communicate insights and actions to senior stakeholders.
  • Systemise and automate root‑cause processes for long‑term resolution.
  • Identify and lead productivity workstreams to mitigate cost and performance risks.
  • Collaborate with the Change Team on innovation projects, supporting risk mitigation and trade‑off decisions.
  • Prepare quarterly E2E waste sector reporting.
  • Support material rationalisation and alignment with Continuous Improvement and Supply Planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Systems (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are beneficial.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or analytics roles.
  • Proficient in data manipulation and systemisation using tools such as JDA Blue Yonder, SAP, IMI.
  • Strong understanding of planning, operations, and order capture processes.
  • Advanced data handling and insight generation.
  • Ability to identify systemic interdependencies and design solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to present trends and engage stakeholders.
  • Effective cross‑functional collaborator across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Change teams.
  • Self‑driven in identifying trends and resolving performance issues.
