Job description
Intermediate Apprentice Scaffolder

Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Cumbria)

Salary: Starting from £14,527 – £23,493 per annum (dependent on age, with annual progression through the scheme duration)

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Undertake comprehensive training in an on-the-job and off-the-job environment.
  • Work as part of a qualified scaffolding team, gaining responsibility for the safe construction and dismantling of standard and bespoke working platforms, both at low levels and at height.
  • Attend a CITB Scaffold training course in two-week blocks, four times annually at an approved Backburn provider, gaining further practical experience in a workplace production environment.
  • Learn the basic skills of using relevant hand tools and machinery together with Health & Safety requirements for your role before progressing on to more in-depth training in the use of scaffolding systems and techniques.

Export Control / Security
