Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong background in data center migration and infrastructure transformation to lead and deliver on a major data center migration programme to modernize and future-proof its core infrastructure. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of end-to-end migration activities—ensuring minimal disruption to services and full alignment with regulatory, security, and business continuity requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of the data centre migration project, from planning through to execution and post-migration stabilization.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Networks, Security, Applications, and Operations.
  • Ensure smooth transition of services and systems with zero or minimal downtime.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers supporting the migration.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.
  • Ensure full compliance with Coutts’ security, resilience, and operational governance standards.
  • Oversee migration testing, validation, and post-move reviews to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to defining long-term infrastructure strategy and cloud migration roadmap.
About You
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven track record of delivering data centre migration or infrastructure transformation projects within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies including servers, storage, networks, and virtualization.
  • Experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem, private, and public cloud).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior business and technical leaders.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Strong vendor management and commercial awareness.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, risk management, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS migration projects.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and operational readiness principles.
  • Relevant certifications: PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile PM.
