Qualifications

• Completion of higher specialist training in gastroenterology and general internal medicine.
• Proven ability to manage upper GI bleeding and acute GI emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide ward cover for gastroenterology inpatients and in-hours cover for upper GI bleeds.
• Contribute to inpatient and outpatient IBD pathways and MDT meetings.

Skills

Wide experience in general gastroenterology

JAG accreditation for OGD & colonoscopy

Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Good spoken and written English

Education

Completion of higher specialist training in gastroenterology

Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
