Two Magpies Bakery is an independent artisan bakery renowned for producing high-quality bread, pastries, and savory products by hand using premium ingredients. Since its founding in 2012 in Southwold, the business has expanded into a leading bakery brand across Norfolk and Suffolk, now operating 10 cafes, a bake school at the Darsham site, and a central bakery in Walpole, near Halesworth, Suffolk. The central bakery supplies fresh daily goods to all cafes and shops, ensuring consistent quality. Further growth is planned, including the release of the Two Magpies Bakery cookbook in 2023.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Walpole for a Hygiene Operative working from 3 PM to 12 AM. The Hygiene Operative will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene regulations in the bakery. Key duties include cleaning and sanitizing workspaces, equipment, and surfaces; handling waste and recycling; and maintaining stock of cleaning supplies. The position also includes monitoring and documenting cleaning schedules as part of ensuring quality and compliance with food safety standards.
