At Thalia, we are looking for a passionate and proactive HSEQ Adviser to join our team on the Isle of Wight, supporting our sites at Forest Road and Lynnbottom Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC). If you're a safety-driven professional with an IOSH qualification and a hands‑on approach to driving positive culture change, we’d love to hear from you. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards across both operational sites. You’ll support a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and help embed continuous improvement practices across the teams. From leading investigations to delivering training and audits, this is a varied and visible role that will allow you to make real impact on‑site.
This role involves regular travel between our two Isle of Wight locations, so flexibility and great communication skills are essential.

We operate the best technology available across our four strategic sites in North Yorkshire, Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Wight. Our technology includes everything from mechanical and biological treatment, traditional mass‑burn energy from waste and material recycling technologies to in‑vessel composting, advanced thermal treatment, innovative small‑scale energy from waste and anaerobic digestion.
In a single year we process 300,000 tonnes of waste that is turned into energy. This generates the same amount of energy as approximately 600 million solar panels. Similarly we recycle circa 95,000 tonnes of waste.
