Job Title: HR Operations Manager
Location: Lincoln, Nettleham Office
Salary: £45,000.00 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days office based, 2 days WFH

Job Summary

Join us to lead, direct and take responsibility for driving a high-performing team, ensuring effective delivery of recruitment and transactional HR services across our Lincoln and Sheffield sites, as well as our remote workforce. You will oversee day-to-day HR operations, maintain compliance with policy and regulation, and champion continuous improvements across all HR processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Managing a small team of HR Advisers to support and deliver pro-active advice which aligns to and support business goal and ensures statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Overseeing recruitment, selection and the onboarding process
  • Provide HR support to directors and senior managers on resourcing and complex employee relations matters, including managing absence, disciplinary, grievances and absence
  • Develop modern best practice HR policies and procedures, ensuring these are in line with current employment law and regulatory requirements.
  • Disseminate and train line managers in HR related policies and procedures so that they are confident in their use.
  • Resolve complex ER issues (including employment tribunals) to deliver commercial and pragmatic outcomes
  • Provide regular MI business reporting and HR metrics as directed by the HR Director
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality always having regard to safeguarding responsibilities
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to your post and/or hours of work and as specified by the Company to assist in ensuring the business goals are met.
About you
  • Essential- Degree/master’s degree in human resource management or CIPD qualified
  • Essential- At least 4 years’ experience working in Human Resources
  • Essential- Experience of managing and developing an HR team
  • Essential- Extensive experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Essential- Knowledge of employment law principles
  • Organised and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Experience of HR management information systems
  • Previous sector experience in a health and regulatory framework would be advantageous.
