A local healthcare trust in Redditch is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Assistant to provide cleaning services aligned with NHS standards. The role offers 15 hours of work per week and includes duties like general cleaning in a variety of healthcare settings. We currently have a permanent part-time housekeeping vacancy at Orchard Place working 15 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 17:00-20:00 and Friday 16:30-19:30). We offer full training to ensure you can succeed in this role and the opportunity to contribute to patient and staff experience through the provision of a housekeeping service within a busy environment.
We pride ourselves on maintaining cleaning standards to a star-rated audit process, working alongside clinical teams to ensure the cleanliness of the Trusts estate in accordance with national standards and the Trusts cleaning plan.
Deliver a fully comprehensive and professional cleaning service to meet NHS standards of cleanliness and other housekeeping duties in accordance with schedules and procedures. Work across local community hospitals, inpatient settings, health centres, clinics, theatres, and administration areas. Relay information that may impact other clinical/non-clinical services. The role provides variety as no two days are the same.

General cleaning tasks (bathrooms, kitchens, wards, clinics, offices, etc.), and specialised cleaning processes including use of machines. Tasks may be tailored to the needs of a specific service and patient care considerations.
