We are seeking a highly motivated individual with practical farm experience to support and supervise our students undertaking practical farm duties at Pound Farm at Holme Lacy College. Working closely in conjunction with our Farm Manager you will be supervising students whilst working with livestock, machinery and farm related tasks whilst maintaining a high focus on health and safety and professional behaviours. As part of our agriculture team, you will assist with the progression of students’ learning and practical skill development as well as providing a safe and enriched environment for students. Initiative and effective communication skills are essential.
Experience of working on a commercial mixed farm is essential as well as the attitude and motivation to support young people to achieve to maximise their potential and progress their career in this industry.
