A healthcare provider in Bolton seeks a Highly Specialised Clinical Physiologist to support their Specialist Device Service. The role involves performing device implants, conducting follow-ups, and assisting with technical tests. Candidates should have a degree in Clinical Physiology, relevant accreditations, and significant CRM experience. The position offers a collaborative environment within the Cardiac Investigation Unit and aims to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
The post holder will help maintain our Specialist Device Service, with the implantation and follow up of patients with Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Cardiac Resynchronisation and Implantable Loop Recorders. The hospital hosts the sector pacing lab for complex device implants for Bolton, Salford and Wigan.
There may also be a requirement for the successful applicant to participate in assisting with Exercise Tolerance Testing and Ambulatory ECG monitor analysis.
The post holder will participate in all aspects of the CRM service from device implant to follow up including troubleshooting. The post holder will also participate in the device MDT meetings and the multi-disciplinary device optimisation clinic.
