Overview

North West Trucks is recruiting for its 2026 DAF Apprentice HGV Technician Programme. This is a hands-on apprenticeship in a fully equipped workshop, combining classroom learning with practical experience to diagnose, repair, and service DAF heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, 40 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).

Key Responsibilities

This is an entry-level role offering on-the-job training supported by the official DAF apprenticeship programme. The programme leads to an IMI Level 3 diploma in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair (three years), managed by Skillnet, DAF's appointed training management agent.
