About The Role

As a Hearing Care Assistant at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting our Audiologists in providing high-quality hearing care. You’ll be the friendly face our customers rely on—from initial consultation to aftercare. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for someone who is compassionate, organised and passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with hearing screening and pre‑consultation procedures
  • Support Audiologists during hearing tests and fittings
  • Provide advice on hearing aid care, maintenance and use
  • Deliver ongoing customer support including follow‑up appointments and adjustments
  • Maintain accurate customer records and handle administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the day‑to‑day smooth running of the hearing care service in‑branch and medical centres
  • Stay informed about hearing care products and developments
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with a friendly, patient‑focused approach and excellent communication skills. Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn and undergo training; while previous experience is a bonus, it is not essential. Confidence in using technology and handling equipment is important. We also value a flexible and supportive team player who contributes positively to the workplace. A full clean driving licence is essential as this is a mobile role.
