A regional mental health trust in Manchester seeks an experienced Senior Support Worker to join their Mental Health Inreach Team, working in HMP Manchester. The role involves assessing physiological observations and assisting service users to access vital care while supporting the wider clinical team. Candidates must have prior experience in mental health settings and be compliant with security procedures. You must have been in the UK for 12 months prior to applying for this post and be able to provide a 6 year address history to be able to complete the prison clearance. This role is subject to an additional recruitment and retention premium of £1542 per annum. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior support worker to join a vibrant mental health inreach team within Health and Justice based at HMP Manchester. The post holder will work within the MHIT and will be an integral part of the wider clinical MDT. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an established service within the Health & Justice directorate of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will be supported with the security checking procedure (Counter Terrorism Clearance) to enable you to work in a High Secure Environment. It is essential that throughout your employment you are compliant at all times with the necessary renewal checks every 5 years.
