Role Description

In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic care team fulfilling temporary staffing needs for care homes and nursing homes. You will provide high‑quality care that promotes dignity, independence, and well‑being for vulnerable adults, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support mobility needs, using equipment safely as required.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Monitor and report on residents’ health and well‑being to nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing teams, residents, and families to deliver high standards of care.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is desirable.
  • Minimum of 6‑12 months care experience.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is an advantage.
